2 Days Sundarban Tour Itinerary

Experience Sundarban’s wonders with boat rides, wildlife sightings, and cultural exploration on a shorter journey.

Day 1, Sundarban

8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: First pickup point is from Indian Museum Main Gate Near Park Street Metro, reporting time is 8:00 AM, and departure time is 8:30 AM. Our second pickup point is from P.C. Chandra Garden Gate No.1, Science City - reporting time is 8:30 AM, and departure time is 9:00 AM by AC vehicle. Enjoy a three and a half hour drive to Godkhali, with a breakfast tea break on the way.

1:30 PM: Arrive at the hotel, located just opposite the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, surrounded by villages, forests, and the river breeze—a peaceful and pleasant place to relax.

2:00 PM: Lunch.

4:00 PM: Enjoy a short boat introduction to the Sundarban Bird Jungle with a lovely sunset view. We will return to the hotel by 6:00 PM.

7:00 PM: Local folk dance performance followed by complimentary snacks and tea/coffee.

8:00 PM: Bonfire and music (winter season only).

10:00 PM: Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2, Sundarban

8:00 AM: Begin the Sundarban delta safari by boat.

8:30 AM: Start the jungle safari guided by our government tourist guide at Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve.

9:30 AM: Embark on a thrilling boat safari through various rivers, islands, and small creeks covering Pirkhali, SarakKhali, Gazikhali, Deul Varani, and Banbib Varani. Visit the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower for wildlife sightings such as spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boar, snakes, water monitor lizards, various bird species, and the Royal Bengal Tiger (if you're lucky).

12:30 PM: Visit the Do-Banki Tiger Reserve Area & Watch Tower. Enjoy the 896-meter canopy walk at Do Banki for a unique wildlife viewing experience from a netted enclosure.

1:30 PM: Visit the Panchamukhni 5 River junction.

4:00 - 5:00 PM: End of the Sundarban jungle tour. Begin the journey back to Kolkata.

8:00 - 9:00 PM: Arrive back in Kolkata.
